Shenzhen’s Longhua District inaugurated its first AI (artificial intelligence) and robotics industrial park during a forum focused on the development of local AI and robotics industries. The event was held on Dec.13 at GS Park in Guanlan Subdistrict.

The new industrial park, located within GS Park, is designed to serve as a one-stop, comprehensive platform that integrates research, development, and innovation; commercialization of R&D achievements; startup incubation; talent cultivation; and enterprise services.

During the forum, a cooperation agreement was signed by the district’s Science, Technology and Innovation Commission, Alpha Startups, the Shenzhen Robotics Association, and the Humanoid Robot Scene Application Alliance to advance the growth of related industries. Additionally, 10 AI-focused startups officially joined the park during the event.

According to Zhao Yanyan, an official from the Longhua District Government, the launch of this industrial park marks a significant milestone in the growth of Longhua’s AI and robotics industries. The district boasts Shenzhen’s most comprehensive and supportive policy framework for the digital economy and leads the city in rolling out a suite of preferential policies to support the AI and robotics sectors. These efforts aim to foster an industrial cluster with core competitiveness.
